Scoring and prizes
How portfolios are scored, prize distribution, streaks, and bonuses.
01How scoring works
Your score is your portfolio's total return percentage over the challenge period.
Example: If you allocated 50% to AAPL (+4%) and 50% to TSLA (+2%), your total return is:
(0.50 x 4%) + (0.50 x 2%) = **+3.0%**
The player with the highest total return wins. Negative returns are possible — if your picks drop, your return goes negative.

02Prize distribution
Prizes are distributed based on final rank. A typical split:

| 1st | 50% |
| 2nd | 30% |
| 3rd | 20% |
Exact splits vary by challenge and are always shown before you enter. Some large challenges pay out to the top 10.
03Streaks and bonuses
Play on consecutive days to build a streak:
- 3-day streak — +5% prize bonus on all winnings
- 5-day streak — +10% prize bonus
- 7-day streak — +15% prize bonus (max)
Your streak is shown on the home page. Missing a day resets it to zero. The bonus is applied automatically to any prizes you win while the streak is active.

04XP and achievements
Every challenge you complete earns XP (experience points). XP contributes to your overall player level and unlocks achievements like:
- First win, 10 wins, 50 wins
- Streak milestones (3-day, 7-day, 30-day)
- ROI milestones (+10%, +25%, +50% in a single challenge)
- Learning milestones (complete Academy tracks)
Achievements are displayed on your profile.
