What is StockPrince?
StockPrince is the infrastructure to run a stock-market fantasy league — for a friend group, a company, or a classroom. A host creates a free league, invites their people with one link, and a live leaderboard tracks the season from there. Portfolios are scored by total return percentage using live NYSE market data with 12-second price refreshes — think fantasy football, but the season is the stock market.
Unlike paper trading apps that are solo experiences, StockPrince is built around competition. League members compete head-to-head or all together on cumulative standings, climb skill-based rankings, and earn rewards. It is a contest of skill — outcomes depend entirely on market knowledge, portfolio construction, and risk management. No real securities are traded, and leagues are free by default; real money is opt-in only. One-off daily and tournament challenges (/challenges) are also available for anyone who wants to jump in without a league.

- Create or join a league — Start a league and invite your people with a link or code, or join one you were invited to. Free by default.
- Build your portfolio — Select 3-5 stocks from the available universe and set your allocation percentages.
- Compete in real time — Watch the standings shift as live market data scores your picks during market hours (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM ET).
- Earn and progress — Gain XP, progress through skill tiers (Entry → Experienced → Shark), and compete for a season prize fund if your league opts in.
